RAPIDS Objective
- RAPIDS provides a low-cost, real-time multifunctional Command and Control capability that cost-effectively supports tactical situational awareness, search and rescue, humanitarian assistance and asset management functions.
- RAPIDS is extensively tested and evaluated within the Naval Postgraduate School’s COASTS international field experimentation program to provide relevant and realistic measures of success.
- RAPIDS will continually evolve around its software and network design core to expand its sensor connectivity, algorithms and data modeling, tactical and targeting capabilities, mobile and control center human/asset interface.
