Corrosion and Mechanical Damage Control Program

PRCI maintains six standing technical committees that coordinate research among various areas and serve the PRMC in its goals and execution.  For example, in the figure below, three committees work together to provide full technical support to the goals of Managing and Preventing Damage.   The support of these teams is vital and unique to PRMC.  No other organization can provide these services backed by experience with pipeline research since 1952.

C&I stands for the Corrosion and Inspection technical committee of PRCI.  DC&O stands for Design, Construction, and Operation technical committee of PRCI.  Materials is the Materials technical committee.  PRCI has three other technical committees, namely, Measurement, Underground Storage, and Compressor & Pump Station.

Together these committees, staffed by professionals in the pipeline industry and selected experts from consulting and academic communities, enable PRMC to offer the best and brightest managers of research and technology programs.
