What is the Pipeline Research Management Center?

Electricore, Inc. and Pipeline Research Council International, Inc. (PRCI) created the Pipeline Research Management Center (PRMC).  It was created to leverage complementary background experience and technology, enhance both companies’ respective core competencies, collaborate in critical research and development endeavors, and speed the development of new and innovative technologies.

 

Electricore and PRCI will engage in collaborative research activities with energy companies and agencies of the United States Government in the areas of Pipeline Safety Research and Development, including but not limited to: Damage Prevention; Leak Detection; Enhanced Operations, Controls, and Monitoring (includes Human Factors issues); Improved Materials Performance; and Other Safety Improvements (includes needs related to Crack Detection Technologies, Pipeline Inspection Technologies, and Risk Assessment) Methods.

 

Electricore is a 501 (c)(3) corporation with extensive experience in the management and administration of cooperative research contracts and projects among various Departments of Federal and State governments having Government approved Audited Financial Administration and Program Development and Administration.

 

PRCI is a 501 (c)(6) corporation comprised of 34 of the world’s leading pipeline operating companies with more than 51 years of experience in funding, planning, and managing technology development for the energy pipeline industry, using an operating model that engages its members’ technical and operations experts and the world renowned researchers.
