Deborah Jelen

Executive Director

As Executive Director, Deborah Jelen is the Chief Operating Officer with general charge and supervision of the conduct of the ordinary business of the Corporation.   Ms. Jelen's experience includes over twenty five years of program and product management roles in the defense, aerospace, automotive and alternative energy marketplaces.  Her experience includes leadership roles with AeroVironment, Hughes Aircraft Company and Olin Aerospace's Rocket Research Company.  Ms. Jelen holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from University of Southern California.

Ian Wood
Ian Wood
Director of Programs

As Director of Programs, Ian Wood is responsible for the management and coordination of all active Electricore projects as well as leads new business development activities for the company.  He currently manages multiple projects with private and public companies, universities, and government agencies as well as conducts new business development, including identifying new business opportunities, teaming formation, qualifying funding sources, proposal leadership, proposal preparation and submission, and guiding project negotiations.  Ian has a B.A. in Earth and Planetary Science from Johns Hopkins University and an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California.  Prior to joining Electricore, Mr. Wood was a Captain in the United States Army 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) and Field Engineer with Schlumberger Oilfield Services.

Beatrice Wlker
Beatrice Walker
Financial Manager

As Finance Manager, Bea Walker is responsible for a wide variety of functions that make up the finance department. Financial planning, analysis and reporting aspects of company operations are a big part of her role with Electricore. She oversees compliance with contractual agreements and tracks budgets of numerous projects and contracts. In addition, she is responsible for administering human resources tasks such as employee benefits, including medical insurance and the retirement plan. Ms. Walker holds a MBA degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, both from the University of Laverne. Prior to joining Electricore, she spent 20 years in the non-profit sector of credit unions, most recently as Executive Vice President at Universal Studios Credit Union. bea@electricore.org


Anne Jerina
Anne Jerina
Program Manager

As Program Manager, Anne Jerina is responsible for managing multiple research and development projects for oil and gas pipeline technologies co-sponsored by the US Government and pipeline industry. She manages the schedule, budgets and technical performance of the projects. Her responsibilities also include developing and tracking project schedules including milestones and deliverables, interfacing with project contractors and subcontractors, authoring and managing periodic program reports and other contractually required documents, and coordinating invoicing with accounting staff. Anne has a BA in Biology with an emphasis in Chemistry from Ripon College and prior to joining the Electricore team, worked as a program manager at a medical marketing and communications firm as well as a research technician at a major pharmaceutical company.

Anne Jerina
Ben Dudley
Program Manager

Mr. Dudley currently manages multiple projects with private and public companies, universities, and government agencies. Throughout all phases of a program - proposal, contract negotiations, and program maintenance - Mr. Dudley serves as a point of contact between sponsoring agency representatives, participants and critical subcontractors for all administrative actions. He is also responsible for developing and tracking project schedules including milestones and deliverables, interfacing with project contractors and subcontractors, as well as authoring and managing periodic program reports regarding schedule, budgets and technical performance. He is also responsible for identification and acquisition of new business opportunities through proposal development, proposal submission, qualifying funding sources, proposal leadership, and project negotiations. Mr. Dudley holds a B.S., Chemistry from University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to joining Electricore, Inc. Mr. Dudley spent three years working at Northrop Grumman.

Toni Beck
Toni Beck
Office Manager

As Office Manager, Toni Beck is responsible for wide variety of tasks that keep the office running smoothly and efficiently.  Providing support to program teams as needed, computer troubleshooting, administrative support and maintenance, as well as responsible for accounts payable/accounts receivable activities, including managing all deposits, invoices, month end financials and other accounting duties.  Also providing support with company insurance programs, website updating and maintenance, managing database and event planning efforts.  Prior to joining Electricore, Toni worked as an executive assistant at a leading provider of factoring services as well as at two diverse property management companies.

Mark Cohen
Kodie Arnold
Program Administrator

As Program Administrator, Kodie Arnold is responsible for general performance which includes support and implementation of documentation, reporting, financial tracking, proposal development, and support of general administrative duties. Before joining the Electricore team, Kodie worked as a coordinator for the PGA Tour at TPC Valencia. Ms. Arnold holds a BA in English Literature from California State University, Northridge.
